Goodbye!

We regret that there will be no Wantage Music Festival in 2024 or in subsequent years as there are no longer enough volunteers to run it despite efforts to advertise for new committee members. With  heavy hearts the trustees and committee have made the sad decision to close the Wantage Music Festival Association, and a motion to this effect was passed at a General Meeting on October 26th 2023.

It has been a privilege to help run this Festival for over 45 years and watch many performers young and not so young grow in their musicianship and give pleasure to themselves and others. The Trustees would like to say a big thank you to all those who have contributed to the success of the Festival during this time, including past and present committee members and other volunteers, adjudicators, accompanists, sponsors, music teachers, parents and most of all the entrants.
