You can now enter either by post or online.
Online entry is quick and convenient, and online entry is now available here! However, if you prefer to enter by post that is also fine.
If you haven’t entered a music festival before,
don’t worry – you’re in for a great time! All you need to do is to select a class or classes in which you would like to sing or play from the syllabus, decide which music you would like to perform, and put your entry in.
All singers and instrumentalists, young and not so young, those with teachers and those without are welcome to come to the festival and perform their music in a friendly atmosphere and receive helpful professional advice to further their music performing pleasure.
The 2022 syllabus is now out and you can see it or download it here. You can start choosing your pieces and practising as soon as you want to.
Entries close on the 8th April, so you have a little time to decide what you want to do, but don’t leave it so long you forget to put your entry in!
If you require use of the festival’s official accompanist please indicate on the entry form. You also need to specify your piece or programme on the entry form, but this can be changed up to 27th May. If you would like a rehearsal with the official accompanist we will let you know how to contact the official accompanist and the accompanist will make a charge for the rehearsal with you. Alternatively you are welcome to bring your own accompanist if you prefer. Your own accompanist can attend your classes without charge.
What Happens Next?
Once we have received all the entries and finalised the timetable we will contact you to let you know exactly what time your class will be held.
If you have any questions we would be delighted to hear from you.
